After almost 5 years of sitting in prison, A-1 Thee Assas'n has been released and has returned to the studio ON FIRE and producing head bangers like only he can!!
The HALF ANGEL EP represents A-1's first major release in over 5 years now, and boy oh boy, I guarantee you that it was worth the wait.
The 6 songs included within feature artist like Cam'ron from Dipset, Noon, Vidal Garcia, ALK2, and OG Eddie MF Kane, as well as production from Legion Beats, Anno Domini Nation, and J-Stack Productions. Kane also supplies his endless energies on the conclusion of the 1st and 3rd track on the project, making these songs easily considered the "fan favorite's". This HALF ANGEL EP chronicles the painful memories and true events that lead up to A-1's latest incarceration. Testimonies of revenge and betrayal as well as his experience as the victim of an attempted murder perpetrated by his very own friends who tried to rob and kill him in his home. But no matter the song or subject, EVERY TRACK ON THIS PROJECT IS PURE HEAT!!!
The amount of detail and precision involved in the creation of A-1's unique sound for this project is extremely impressive. The EP has a rugged and rough yet completely mastered sound that keeps A-1 Thee Assas'n authentic to his underground roots, which his early fans who know how great his mixtapes were will appreciate. Honestly, tho this release is classified as an EP, I would give it a 5-Star album rating!! That's how well put together it is. In a world of artist that all have a similar sound, hardcore music fans everywhere will definitely love A-1's unique style and lyrical delivery.
